Last week I sent out an email to my email list about a funk that I was in because of imposter syndrome. I heard from so many of you who told me you were feeling the same way.
I want to tell you, if you are a writer and a blogger you can help people… and you ARE helping people, whether you fully realize it or not. If you are putting content out there and you are doing it with a purpose to share with your audience then you are helping someone. It doesn’t matter whether it’s 50 people or 50000 people. You have to know and accept the fact that you are helping people.
That’s the first thing I want to tell you. The second thing I want to tell you, before we go any farther is if you are here because you’re helping people and you’re trying to figure out how to do this in a bigger way whether it’s growing your blog, growing your business and just getting more people into your audience that I want you to sign up for my 5 day planning challenge.
We’re going to figure out how you can bring your solutions to a larger scale and grow your audience. We’re going to plan out our next 90 days, so you can figure out how to really maximize what you’re doing and get focused.
If you’re feeling like you help people and you want to do it on a bigger scale, than we need to get your goals planned out.
Let’s continue with this idea that you can help people and you are helping people….and imposter syndrome. It’s so real and every single person, no matter how big your business is feels like this. It’s when you are feeling like you are a big fraud…. and one day you’re going to wake up and everyone’s going to realize that you really have no idea what you’re talking about. That is what Imposter Syndrome is and we all struggle with it.
You’re not the misnomer in the corner feeling like you’re the only one thinking this way. You’re not the only one thinking that you can’t make it and having doubts and fear. You’re not the only one thinking you’re not really sure what you have to offer. You do have something to offer and you do help people whether it’s through your blog or whether it’s in person.
If you write about gluten free recipes, you’re providing solutions for people maybe with autoimmune conditions.
If you share workouts, maybe you’re providing solutions for women who can only workout at home in the morning before their kids wake-up.
If you write about reducing anxiety, then maybe you’re providing solutions for people who are stressed out because of their job.
You are one of many people that feel this way. Coming together is the best way that we can work through this. . You’ll feel better and we can accomplish more. We have to get past this feeling and we have to move on because we have so many bigger things to accomplish.
If you are sitting at home and feeling this way, then don’t keep at it alone. Don’t stay by yourself.
Come join this five day planning party so we can work on your mindset and show you, you’re not alone and to figure out how you can help people on a bigger scale.
If you want to travel fast go alone and if you want to travel far go together.
Come together with us because you’re not alone. You can help people and you can make an impact.
I want you to stop right now and really just sit and think:
- How am I helping people?
