30 day push is OVER. Why is time going so fast? (insert happy crying emoji here.)
I feel like I should be a walking Chalene advertisement, basically because I am. I keep repeating, “try it! It’s FREE!” That’s like my go to phrase. What’s the worst that can happen? You start focusing and moving forward on your goals? Yea, sounds terrible.
I do think it works best for small business owners/entrepreneurs who are looking for a shake up to help them achieve their goals. It will help anyone who is looking for a change though, and if you are feeling STUCK, then I HIGHLY recommend it.
Best thing to come out of 30 day push…a real to do list. This isn’t some list I make once and never look at it again. It’s done every single day and gets added to, checked off, moved around…and it keeps me focused and working towards my goals. Second best thing to come out of it is to realize my priorities. My family is number 1; I knew that. But what I didn’t know is how much I wanted to work on my purpose. My purpose for 3 years has been “mom” with a tiny, tiny side of work. Now, it’s different. I’m still mom, but I’m really working too. It feels good…great actually.
My Favorite Days of 30 Day Push
I really loved it all, but there were a few stand outs for me.
Uncomfortable Assignment: Basically do the hardest task, you’ve been procrastinating on your to do list and get it done first thing. For me, this was calling Whole Foods. I had to call to check in and talk about the first purchase order. This was a huge call for me to make because it is the next step for Blissful Eats to get in the doors there. Phone calls are hard for me because 1. I hate talking on the phone and 2. fear of rejection. When this day came around I finally made the phone call…and let’s be real it’s never actually as hard as you make it in your head. The phone call went well and I got the info I needed! We build things up in our head so much and let fear take over. It was so unnecessary. Let that be a lesson to myself and to you.
Share and Celebrate Your Success
Share your goals with others AND share what you’ve learned along the way. This is actually two separate days here. I love these because I love paying it forward. If I have found something that really works for me, I’m going to share it with the people in my life I think would also benefit from it. I intentionally shared the 30 Day Push with close friends I knew would love it…and they have. I’m all about lifting and supporting each other. There is room for all of us to reach our goals and succeed.
On the other side, I also am taking time to celebrate my successes. It’s so easy to keep moving forward onto the next project without slowing down and taking time to actually appreciate what you have just accomplished. I know I’ve felt before that I didn’t do as much as the next person, so why should I celebrate? That is a ridiculous way to think. Now we are making sure we take a day to celebrate every time we reach a goal we want to hit.
You are headed where you are looking. Chalene does a great job explaining this. Do you know when you are riding a bike and you are looking at something you don’t want to run into…and then you run into it? This is the same thing. If you want to reach your goals and keep moving forward in life, then you need to look in that positive direction. Keep your positive attitude and positive things will come into your life. I’ve always been a huge believer of that.
With love comes more love. With hope, opportunity multiplies. Think about your goals, feel the pleasure of reaching them. Alert your mind to the good in all of us. Believe and dream and fantasize about the future.” Chalene Johnson
What’s next for me?
I’m really continuing on with the personal and business development. I’ve put a fair amount of money into a couple of programs that I think will really, really pay off. Danny and I each picked a program to go through. This development work we’re doing is really going to make the difference with us. We know we have so much to learn and who better to learn from then people we really look up to and aspire to be like!
Instagram Academy: I’m doing Amanda’s academy to help build my social media reach.
Business Mentorship Program: Also with Amanda to work on growing Blissful Eats and my other business ventures. I need guidance and help and I know that this will be great for me!
Smart Success: This is what Danny is mainly doing, but I’m also going through it with him. So far we’re two modules in and it’s a very detailed version that goes more in depth with your goals and what you want your future to look like. This is great for both of us, but especially Danny because he’s still trying to figure out what he wants him future business life to look like. He has a ton of ideas, but he is trying to narrow it down to see what to work on now, in the next few months and years.
If you need any support, health of small business wise I’m always happy to share what I’ve learned. What personal and business development courses have you tried?
More places to find me. I would love to connect with you!
